> The Old Beaver Ridge Methodist Church and Cemetery, located in Knox County at the intersection of Copper Ridge Road and Emory Road.
Type "3550 Copper Ridge Road, Knoxville, TN, 37931" in Google Earth and you will see a satellite view of this cemetery. You will also see the former Beaver Ridge Methodist Church/Masonic Lodge building (no longer standing).Supposedly there is (or was) a deed transferring this tract to a Baptist church in 1815. I'm still looking.If you have - or suspect you have - ancestors buried in this cemetery, you should contact Barbara Stevens, who has made a list of the inscriptions and has also cleaned the grounds and repaired the monuments.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
